The children loved completing "active" homework this week instead of written homework. Well done!!  The children in 6th class visited the Comeragh Wilderness Camp today and enjoyed a variety of outdoor and adventure activities. They had a great day!  Bike Day 2022 was a huge success! 🚴The children had a great day on their bikes in the sunshine. ☀️ The morning started with 2nd, 3rd and 4th class cycling along the Lower Road to Glenstown Bridge and 5th and 6th class cycling to Curraghmore. Thank you to our wonderful parents - Jenny, Pauline, Denise and Paul for helping out on the cycle. Huge thank you to Carrick Wheelers for visiting our school and providing each class with a bike safety and cycling skills session to our children. The children in Mrs. O'Brien's class wrote an acrostic poem and made bike safety posters! Thank you to our brilliant Playground Leaders for setting up games and equipment in the mornings before school for the children to enjoy! |
