As part of Catholic Schools Week 2022, the children in infants and 1st class made pictures for their grandparents.  The children in infants and 1st class have been busy covering the theme of "Houses and Homes" over the last fortnight. They learned about different types of homes, rooms in each home and where to find them. The children also learned about different homes around the world. The Three Little Pigs was used as a stimulus. The children worked in groups to build the homes of the three little pigs. They were assigned the task of building a house that was strong enough to stay standing after a visit from the big bad wolf (a hairdryer!!). They had great fun! Well done boys and girls! The children in 5th and 6th class had great fun learning all about magnets and magnetism this week! |
