Science in 5th and 6th class
Easter egg hunt
The children in Mr. Whelan's and Mrs. O'Brien's class had great fun participating in an Easter Egg hunt today!
2nd, 3rd and 4th Class have been busy preparing for Easter. They participated in two webinars, one about Easter drawings, the second was a storytelling session about Easter.
They made Easter bonnets and cards, designed Easter Maths Assessments based on the lay out of their Mental Maths textbook and read and wrote Irish stories about An Cháisc.
The children participated in two Easter Egg Hunts. One was organised by our visiting French Teacher, Ms. Cronin. The other was done through Gaeilge.
They also had a prayerful visit to the Church where they did a meditation on The Stations of The Cross. Wishing all the hardworking children a well-deserved holiday! Maith sibh.
Infant Easter Hunt
Easter guided Drawing
5th and 6th class have been learning about the 1916 Easter Rising. The children created these 3D maps of Dublin and the occupied buildings. Excellent work!!
The children in 2nd, 3rd and 4th Class enjoyed a webinar on Easter drawings. Look at the professional Easter cards which they made throughout the zoom lesson. Fantastic!
The little red kettle
The Little Red Kettle Theatre Group visited our school last week with their production of ‘Funky Fandango!'. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance. A huge well done to the children who were all part of the performance. You were all excellent!
