Well done to the boys and girls in 5th and 6th class who participated in a debate on Zoom today. You were all excellent!
Pictured below are the creations from the 5th and 6th class felting workshop. Well done to the children - they are beautiful! The children in Infants and First Class had great fun engaging in different experiments for Science Week! Our first experiment was the "Bouncy Egg" experiment. The egg becomes bouncy as a result of a chemical reaction between the eggshell and the vinegar. We tested how "bouncy" each egg was from different heights! We added gummy bears to water and different liquids to see what would happen. The Senior Infants won the competition of growing the biggest gummy bear! We also experimented with mixing colours in our "Walking Water" experiment.
3rd and 4th class have been studying Amelia Earhart. Yesterday, they enjoyed drawing timelines of her life with chalk in the beautiful November sunshine. As always, they worked with great team spirit! |
