The Dentist aistear

The children in Infants and First Class were busy learning all about teeth and the work of the dentist.
We set up our Dental Surgery rolepay area which included a waiting room, reception, dentist chair and an x-ray area. The children used toothbrushes and toothpaste to clean dirty teeth (lego pieces!). We learned all about the functions and number of our different teeth and made models of teeth! 
To finish off the theme, we made "Elephant's Toothpaste". We had great fun and learned the importance of keeping our teeth clean and healthy!
