Our Amber Flag theme for this month was Gratitude. We were reflecting on things that we appreciate. We use our gratitude journals and gratitude jars to write down things that we are grateful for on a daily basis. We show our appreciation for nature through planting and growing. Music is good for the soul and very important for our well-being. We were very grateful for the opportunity to listen to local musicians playing traditional Irish music lately.
4th, 5th and 6th class attended UKE Rocks in Garter Lane. Many thanks to Music Generation and our tutor Darragh for organising the event. It was a fantastic day.
5th and 6th class have been learning about percentages and fractions. To consolidate this learning they have been using IZAK9.
2nd, 3rd and 4th Class have completed fabulous art work based on their novel James and the Giant Peach.
A very busy SNAG week here in Clonea Power NS. We had Cluiche Bingó, Céílí, Tráth na gCeist and Lá Glas. A huge thanks to the Roche family for performing for our céilí. Happy St. Patricks Day Everyone!
Our fantastic self-portrait display outside Ms. O'Shea's room as part our Amber Flag.
