September was a super busy month in the infant room as the new Junior Infants settled into the routine of “big school”. The Senior Infants and 1st Class have been brilliant, helping their new classmates settle – well done to all! We would like to share some of our learning from the month. We covered the themes All About Me and School throughout the month. Here are some pictures of the children from the last few weeks! Children in 3rd and 4th class used our iPads today to research information on bears.
They did mini projects on the topic and learned lots of new information. Maith sibh a pháistí! Well done to the boys from 5th and 6th class on their win with the U12 Clonea GAA hurling team in the county shield.
The pupils and staff at Clonea-Power NS are very proud of your achievement. Huge thank you to Geraldine for her efforts with the children in 2nd - 6th class each week. The children love the circuit classes and always have great fun while keeping fit! The pupils and staff of Clonea Power NS are delighted with the newly painted infant room.
Huge thanks to Rockett Decorating for their work! Pictured below are our 5th and 6th class sporting our new school tracksuits. Tracksuits are available in Outfield Sports, Carrick-on-Suir. The original tracksuit style is still acceptable for use in school and there is no requirement to update to the new tracksuit.
A very warm welcome back to our pupils and a special welcome to our new Junior Infants! It has been a busy few days welcoming back our children to a safe learning environment. Here's to a happy and healthy school year!
