Another fantastic day here in Clonea Power NS as part of our Wellbeing Week! The children enjoyed some healthy snacks, snakes and ladders, building a birds nest, took part in mindful yoga and chair yoga, music with Darragh, and GAA with Ryan. One of the highlights of the week was the whole school musical chairs. The children had great fun and are having a really enjoyable week learning about Wellbeing and Mental Health. Well done to Ms. O'Shea and the Amber Flag Committee for all the work in organising these activities.

Our Amber Flag theme for this month was Gratitude. We were reflecting on things that we appreciate. We use our gratitude journals and gratitude jars to write down things that we are grateful for on a daily basis. We show our appreciation for nature through planting and growing. Music is good for the soul and very important for our well-being. We were very grateful for the opportunity to listen to local musicians playing traditional Irish music lately.
4th, 5th and 6th class attended UKE Rocks in Garter Lane. Many thanks to Music Generation and our tutor Darragh for organising the event. It was a fantastic day.
5th and 6th class have been learning about percentages and fractions. To consolidate this learning they have been using IZAK9.
